Radiation Oncologist in Irmo, SC

A well-established private practice is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist ready to step into a fast-paced, highly organized center. This full-time, direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced physician with a strong background in U.S.-based practice, preferably someone born and raised in the Southeast. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Varian Halcyon, Truebeam, Elekta Versa, Elekta Synergy, and utilizes Aria for EMR management.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, permanent position (not accepting travelers)
• Some on-call duties required (schedule to be discussed during interview)
• 45+ patients per day

Key Qualifications:

• Board certified Radiation Oncologist with at least several years of domestic experience
• Proven ability to excel in high-volume environments
• Experience working with advanced linear accelerators and EMR systems
• U.S. credentials obtained at accredited institutions (no international degrees/experience considered)
• Preference for candidates from the Southeast region
• Not accepting retirees or new graduates

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage patient care in a busy radiation oncology center
• Operate advanced treatment equipment with precision
• Collaborate closely with a team of seasoned therapists and experienced female physicians
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care with limited time off
• Participate in an in-person two-round interview process (candidates are encouraged to bring spouses or loved ones for a brief meet and greet)
