Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:00)
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Current BLS certification
- AART certification
- CRT credential
- Experience in routine and specialized radiation treatments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and patient assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments based on physician-directed protocols
- Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment; coordinate repairs as needed
- Assist physicians in various simulation procedures and provide clear, calming patient education
- Mentor students and new therapists, fostering a supportive learning environment
- Maintain precise, organized patient records and manage clerical tasks such as appointment scheduling
- Adhere to ALARA principles, ensuring a safe environment for patients, families, and staff
- Calibrate and inspect equipment, maintaining quality control standards
