Radiation Therapist - Bainbridge, Ohio

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call or holiday responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
• At least 1 year of travel experience in the field
• Experience with EPIC and ARIA electronic medical record systems
• ARRT (R)(T) certification and current state licensure
• Valid BLS certification
• Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy degree

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives and established protocols
• Conduct comprehensive patient verification and safety checks, including identity confirmation and imaging verification to ensure every treatment is delivered safely
• Acquire and evaluate imaging (KV, MV, CBCT) to confirm accurate patient positioning and monitor treatment accuracy
• Review treatment plans and perform thorough patient chart audits to identify discrepancies, maintain precision, and uphold treatment quality
• Provide patient-centered care, offering education and support throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals for coordinated and effective patient care

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
