Radiation Therapist in Berryville, VA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8s)

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiation therapy required
• Proficiency operating Varian Truebeam/Aria systems
• Active Virginia Radiation Therapy license required at time of application
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for multi-disciplinary teamwork
• Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and compassionate patient interaction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with accuracy and attention to patient well-being
• Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam/Aria machines in accordance with safety and treatment standards
• Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient treatment and progress, updating records promptly and accurately
• Educate patients and families on procedures, providing emotional support as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
