Radiation Therapist in Berryville, VA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current and active Virginia (VA) radiation therapy license (must be in hand).
• Proficient with Varian Truebeam and Aria systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Availability to begin as soon as possible.

Role Responsibilities:

• Administer daily radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment safely and precisely.
• Monitor and assess patient reactions throughout treatments, providing support and updates to clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in quality assurance and equipment checks.
• Collaborate closely with dosimetrists, physicists, and oncologists to optimize patient care.

Interview Process:

• Two interviews: first via Teams video, second conducted in person.
• Travel and accommodation expenses are covered for the in-person interview.

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
