Radiation Therapist | Berryville, Virginia

Deliver essential care as a skilled radiation therapy professional, utilizing your expertise with Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment. This contract role starts as soon as possible, supporting cancer patients and collaborating with a team dedicated to exceptional outcomes. Your background in radiation therapy combined with Virginia state licensure ensures smooth integration into this pivotal healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (5x8 shifts)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Proficient with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems
• VA radiation therapy license in hand (required)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation treatments based on physician prescriptions
• Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment (Varian Truebeam/Aria)
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety during treatments
• Provide clear instructions and support to patients before, during, and after sessions
• Maintain detailed treatment records and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Actively participate in ongoing quality and safety checks

Interview Process:

• Two stages: Initial virtual interview (Teams), followed by an onsite/in-person interview (travel/lodging provided and covered by facility)
