Assignment Details:

  • 16-week travel contract
  • 8-hour day shifts

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit-RN
  • Current BLS certification
  • PEARS or PALS certification
  • Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course completion through APHON (or equivalent) within the past 5 years
  • Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience with pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess pediatric patients throughout chemotherapy and infusion treatments
  • Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely
  • Monitor for, and promptly intervene with, side effects and adverse reactions
  • Manage and maintain central lines (ports, PICCs) using sterile technique
  • Provide comprehensive pain, symptom, and supportive care
  • Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, side effects, and home care plans
  • Deliver emotional support to patients and their caregivers
  • Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Ensure precise documentation in Cerner for all interventions and responses

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
