Radiation Therapist - Chicago, Illinois

Step into an essential role providing radiation therapy in a collaborative, day-shift environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, utilizing cutting-edge technology to deliver quality patient care.

Schedule & Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• No call requirements
• No weekend shifts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Illinois IEMA Radiation Therapist license required
• Registered Radiation Therapist with ARRT (R.T. (R) (ARRT))
• Experience operating Varian Trilogy linear accelerator is essential
• Proficiency with ARIA software and Epic EMR preferred
• Comfortable working in the prescribed departmental attire (grey scrubs)
• Proven track record delivering safe, effective radiation therapy

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer precise radiation therapy treatments according to physician-provided protocols
• Operate Varian Trilogy linear accelerator safely and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records using ARIA and Epic
• Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to patients undergoing therapy
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
