Radiation Therapist in Chillicothe, OH

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• No call or holiday shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
• At least 1 year of travel experience
• Current ARRT (R, T) certification and appropriate state licensure
• Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy
• BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC and ARIA electronic medical records required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately, precisely following physician instructions and protocols
• Conduct thorough patient verification, including identity checks, imaging confirmation, and required treatment timeouts to maximize patient safety
• Acquire and evaluate treatment imaging (KV, MV, CBCT) to assure precise patient positioning and delivery
• Review treatment plans and perform chart audits to identify inconsistencies and maintain the highest level of treatment accuracy
• Educate and support patients with clear communication, ensuring their understanding and comfort throughout treatment
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize coordination and deliver excellent patient outcomes
