Radiation Therapist - Cibolo, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required)
• Demonstrated experience in Radiation Therapy within a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency in operating Varian linear accelerators and using ARIA EMR
• Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
• CPR certification and required licensure for practice

Schedule:

• Full-time, contract-based role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments, ensuring precision and safety
• Operate and monitor Varian linear accelerators with attention to patient comfort and accuracy
• Utilize ARIA software for documentation, scheduling, and treatment tracking
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes, expectations, and aftercare
• Participate in quality assurance checks and routine equipment maintenance
• Follow all facility policies and state/federal regulations for radiation use and infection control
