Key Qualifications:
- Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required)
- Demonstrated experience in Radiation Therapy within a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency in operating Varian linear accelerators and using ARIA EMR
- Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
- CPR certification and required licensure for practice
Schedule:
- Full-time, contract-based role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments, ensuring precision and safety
- Operate and monitor Varian linear accelerators with attention to patient comfort and accuracy
- Utilize ARIA software for documentation, scheduling, and treatment tracking
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists
- Educate patients and families about treatment processes, expectations, and aftercare
- Participate in quality assurance checks and routine equipment maintenance
- Follow all facility policies and state/federal regulations for radiation use and infection control

$3,483 - $3,672/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
