Qualifications/Experience:
- Credentialed Radiation Therapist with current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Active licensure for practice in New Jersey
- Proficiency operating radiation therapy equipment, including simulators and linear accelerators
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration with clinical staff
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments, verifying dosage and settings in accordance with physician orders
- Explain procedures, respond to patient questions, and offer compassionate support throughout treatment sessions
- Prepare and position patients using immobilization devices and imaging technologies for optimal treatment accuracy
- Adhere to strict safety measures to protect patients, families, and staff
- Document treatment specifics and report any changes or adverse reactions promptly
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing personnel to achieve best outcomes

$2,135 - $2,295/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
