Deliver advanced radiation therapy with a dedicated cancer center serving 64-68 patients daily across two treatment units. Utilize your expertise as a Radiation Therapist to provide skilled and compassionate care, working with state-of-the-art equipment, including two Varian linear accelerators (TrueBeam and EDGE). This contract opportunity requires adaptability and efficiency, as you will independently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm
  • Flexibility offered based on patient volume

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois license (must be active and in hand at submission)
  • ARRT and IEMA radiation therapy certification required
  • Experience in mid- to large-sized hospital settings preferred
  • Proficient in using ARIA record and verify; familiarity with system upgrades beneficial
  • Comfortable operating linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE)
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently multitask
  • Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility (no local candidates per policy)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate, safe radiation therapy treatments to a diverse patient population
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain linear accelerators and related radiologic equipment
  • Follow proper documentation protocols using the ARIA platform (transitioning to v18.1)
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, and oncology nurses for patient-centered care
  • Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process
  • Uphold clinical safety and quality standards at all times
