Radiation Therapist in Dekalb, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm (flexible hours available based on patient load).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer external beam radiation therapy using Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators.
• Oversee daily treatments for approximately 64-68 patients across two treatment units.
• Utilize ARIA record and verify system, with an upgrade to v18.1 coming soon.
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff, maintaining safety and accuracy for all treatment protocols.
• Maintain organized, accurate patient records and uphold all privacy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license required at submission
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and IEMA certifications.
• Prior experience in mid-large hospital settings, handling significant patient throughput.
• Strong multi-tasking and independent work skills necessary.
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility.
