Radiation Therapist in Detroit, MI

Step into a vital role delivering specialized patient care in radiation therapy at a leading clinic. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute expertise in radiation treatments, working closely with highly trained professionals in a state-of-the-art environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers a dynamic, supportive atmosphere in a central, main-campus setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Five days per week
• No on-call responsibilities or weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer accurate radiation treatments according to physician directives
• Operate advanced machinery, including Varian equipment and TrueBeam systems
• Use Aria software for precise treatment planning and documentation
• Collaborate with a small, experienced team to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain rigorous safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT – T certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Hands-on proficiency with Varian and Aria systems strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
