Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in radiation therapy dosimetry
- ARRT certification required
- Valid or in-process New York State license
- Proficiency with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam systems highly desirable
- Prior locum tenens experience preferred
- New graduates will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicists, and therapists to develop and implement accurate radiation treatment plans
- Perform dose calculations and ensure plan quality assurance to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Operate and troubleshoot treatment planning systems including Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam
- Stay current with advances in dosimetry technology and treatment techniques
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to facility protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
