Qualifications:

  • Must have an active or in-process New York State license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Dosimetrist (locum experience preferred)
  • ARRT certification required
  • Proficiency with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam systems highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • New graduates will not be considered for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop precise treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and medical physicists
  • Utilize advanced planning systems and electronic medical records to ensure safe, accurate radiation delivery
  • Calculate optimal dose distributions for individualized patient treatment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
  • Communicate complex technical details effectively to clinical staff
  • Adapt to new technologies and protocols as they develop within the cancer facility
