This position is integral in delivering precise radiation therapy treatment plans, working in collaboration with a dedicated oncology team. Schedule/Hours:

- Locum Tenens assignment with immediate start
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dosimetrist required
- Active or in-process New York State license (required)
- ARRT certification necessary
- Solid clinical background; no new graduates will be considered
- Prior locum experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Develop and calculate precise radiation dose distributions in accordance with physician prescriptions
- Utilize advanced treatment planning software and equipment
- Collaborate with medical physicists, radiation oncologists, and therapists to ensure optimal patient care
- Verify accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Provide mentorship to junior staff as needed
