An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist (Dosimetrist) to support a cancer treatment facility in the Syracuse, NY area. This locum tenens role requires a motivated professional with a strong background in radiation therapy dosimetry, ready to begin without delay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise radiation dose calculations tailored to individual patient treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and radiation therapists to ensure effective and safe treatment delivery.
  • Utilize treatment planning systems and work with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, or TrueBeam technologies where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines and facility protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience as a Radiation Therapist (Dosimetrist).
  • ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • Active New York state license or actively in-process credentialing for New York.
  • Proficiency or experience with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam systems is highly advantageous.
  • No entry-level or newly graduated candidates will be considered for this role.
