Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in radiation therapy dosimetry, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Proficiency with radiation treatment planning software (e.g., Eclipse, Pinnacle, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of radiation oncology physics, anatomy, and clinical workflow
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Design and calculate precise radiation treatment plans according to physician protocols
  • Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, and Therapists to deliver optimal patient care
  • Participate in QA procedures and maintain rigorous accuracy throughout all planning stages
  • Document procedures, update records, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Stay current with the latest advances in dosimetry and radiotherapy treatments
