Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification required
- Active or in-process New York State license is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years’ dosimetry experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Expertise with radiation oncology systems including Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam preferred
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced oncology environment
- Strong documentation, teamwork, and patient care skills
- No new graduates at this time; experienced candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to develop patient-specific radiation treatment plans
- Calculate and verify dose distributions for high precision and safety
- Operate planning systems and ensure all prescribed treatments are carried out according to clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment data
- Communicate effectively with clinical and technical staff throughout the treatment process
