Assignment Details:
• 16-week assignment
• 8-hour day shifts

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN
• Current BLS certification
• PEARS or PALS certification
• Completion of Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course through APHON or equivalent within the past 5 years
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric hematology/oncology patients

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess pediatric patients before, during, and after chemotherapy/infusion
• Safely administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications
• Vigilantly monitor and promptly respond to side effects and adverse reactions
• Manage central venous access devices, practicing strict sterile technique
• Provide symptom management and supportive care, including pain and nausea control
• Educate patients and families on treatments, side effects, and post-care
• Offer emotional support to both patients and caregivers
• Effectively collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Accurately document all care within the Cerner system
