Key Qualifications:
- ARRT (T) certification required
- Proven experience planning, administering, and documenting radiation therapy treatments
- Proficient in operating radiation therapy equipment and adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent communication with patients and the healthcare team
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate treatment records
Schedule/Hours:
- Must be available to start within 7–10 days of offer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver prescribed doses of radiation as directed by physician orders
- Safeguard patient safety by thoroughly verifying treatment plans and setup positions
- Explain procedures, answer patient questions, and provide reassurance throughout each session
- Monitor patient condition during treatment, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation in accordance with medical and legal requirements
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists as part of the care team
