Step into a dynamic environment supporting adult and geriatric patients through vital radiation therapy services at an acute care facility. This is a contract role starting July 13, 2026, for skilled professionals passionate about making a clinical impact. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 08:00–16:30 (5x8-hour days), with rotational weekend call (08:00–16:00). No block scheduling is available.

Schedule:

  • Days: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 08:00–16:30 (5x8-hour shifts)
  • Weekend call required; rotated, 08:00–16:00

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (T) certification
  • State license (CA preferred; pending accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Will accept first-time travelers
  • Prior experience in beam modifying/positioning, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and dosimetry
  • Proficiency in adult outpatient and acute care settings
  • Solid background in internal treatment, SRS, SBRT, Tomo therapy, and respiratory gating
  • Familiarity with treating Hodgkin's & Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, and testicular cancer

Preferred Technology Experience:

  • Charting: Epic (preferred)
  • Treatment units: Elekta Infinity, Varian 21 ex/ix
  • CT Simulator: Toshiba
  • Software: Impac MOSAIQ
  • Experience with special procedures including SRS/SBRT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, precise radiation therapy to adults and geriatric patients—20 patients per machine daily
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure adherence to individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Provide comprehensive patient education and support throughout each stage of treatment
  • Support acute outpatient and internal treatments with demonstrated expertise
