Radiation Therapist - Fairmont, West Virginia

Schedule:

• Choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts each week
• Day shifts; weekends and holidays as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active and unexpired driver’s license (documentation required to submit)
• BLS certification (current and valid)
• Certified Radiation Therapist – ARRT (T)
• A minimum of 50 miles residency from the workplace (mandatory)
• Demonstrated expertise in IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
• Hands-on experience with Varian equipment, specifically Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and Varian ARIA Oncology Information System
• Ability to serve an average load of 25 patients per linear accelerator per day, up to 50 total, plus 6–9 CT simulations daily
• Familiarity with Varian Trilogy, Siemens Somation go. flo open, and other department-specific platforms

Responsibilities:

• Administer targeted radiation therapy to patients under physician direction, ensuring precise dosimetry and patient safety
• Operate and maintain advanced treatment equipment according to established protocols
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team, supporting both adult and minimal pediatric patient caseloads
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in the oncology information system
• Participate in departmental workflow, contributing to safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery

$2,638 - $2,790/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
