Radiation Therapist in Franklin, WI

A rewarding contract position is available for an experienced Radiation Therapist skilled in delivering radiation therapy to adult patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses. This role is set within a modern department equipped with two linear accelerators and a steady patient census, offering exposure to advanced treatment procedures in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• No weekends, call, or holiday shifts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Varian True Beam and Aria required
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy and active BLS required
• Prior experience using a linear accelerator for administering radiation treatments
• Preferred: Familiarity with DIBH and SBRT techniques
• Open to first-time travelers who meet requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation therapy based on provider orders using advanced linear accelerator technology
• Document all treatments and patient responses in the Aria EMR
• Ensure safe patient care and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including lead therapists, therapists, providers, RNs, and departmental leadership
• Uphold infection control and radiation safety procedures
