Advance your career as a Radiation Therapist specializing in delivering high-quality patient care using state-of-the-art technology in a respected cancer treatment center. This contract opportunity calls for skilled professionals capable of working independently and managing a substantial patient load across two advanced linear accelerators—Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm
  • Flexible hours based on patient volumes

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified in Radiation Therapy (ARRT and IEMA certifications required)
  • Illinois state license in hand upon application
  • Proven experience in mid- to large-size hospital settings
  • Proficient with ARIA record and verify systems (upgrade to v18.1 expected soon)
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation treatments safely and accurately to a daily census of 64–68 patients
  • Operate and manage two linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam and EDGE)
  • Collaborate with physicians, medical physicists, and fellow staff to deliver patient-centered care
  • Monitor treatment responses and promptly address technical issues
  • Help implement ARIA system upgrades and ensure compliance with new protocols
  • Maintain thorough records in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards
