Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Radiation Therapy procedures and equipment
  • Strong understanding of treatment planning and radiation safety protocols
  • Excellent communication abilities with patients and clinical team members
  • Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient oncology setting highly preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a compassionate and patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer precise radiation treatments according to physician directives and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy, ensuring accuracy and comfort
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Accurately document all procedures, treatment parameters, and patient responses
  • Monitor patients for potential side effects or complications, reporting concerns promptly
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, medical physicists, and nursing staff to optimize care
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and confidentiality standards
