Leverage your expertise in radiation therapy by supporting patients and collaborating with a dynamic oncology team. This contract opportunity offers the chance to utilize advanced technology and make a direct impact on patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (5x8’s)
Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license required at time of application
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Proficiency working with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and patient-focused communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and technical personnel
- Flexibility to start as soon as possible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer daily radiation treatments following physicians’ prescribed protocols
- Operate and monitor Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment to ensure safety and accuracy
- Maintain thorough records of all treatments and patient progress
- Educate and support patients through procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort
- Communicate with physicians, dosimetrists, and physicists regarding patient care plans
- Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control protocols within the department
