Radiation Therapist | Front Royal, Virginia

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (5x8’s)

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Proficiency working with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and patient-focused communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and technical personnel
• Flexibility to start as soon as possible

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer daily radiation treatments following physicians’ prescribed protocols
• Operate and monitor Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment to ensure safety and accuracy
• Maintain thorough records of all treatments and patient progress
• Educate and support patients through procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort
• Communicate with physicians, dosimetrists, and physicists regarding patient care plans
• Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control protocols within the department
