Radiation Therapist - Front Royal, Virginia

Deliver expert care and support in a highly skilled radiation therapy setting in this contract opportunity at a modern cancer treatment facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in administering therapeutic radiation treatments, collaborating closely with team members, and ensuring top-quality patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Virginia state license in Radiation Therapy
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Experience operating Varian TrueBeam/Aria systems preferred
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using advanced equipment
• Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and other allied health staff to deliver comprehensive cancer care
• Monitor patient response and document treatment progress accurately
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the process
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility protocols for patient safety and quality assurance

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
