Radiation Therapist - Front Royal, VA

Seeking a skilled professional with experience in radiation therapy for a contract assignment starting as soon as possible. This position focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care using advanced technology within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (5x8 hour shifts)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam and Aria systems required
• Active, valid Virginia (VA) license must be held prior to consideration
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
• Must be comfortable with a two-step interview process: one virtual (Teams) and one in-person (travel expenses and stay covered for the in-person interview)

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician directives and established protocols
• Operate, monitor, and calibrate Varian Truebeam/Aria machines for safe and precise delivery of treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all treatments performed
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding procedures and expectations
• Contribute to a supportive clinical environment committed to patient safety and treatment efficacy
