What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiation therapy (new grads welcome to apply)
- Certification and/or eligibility as a Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
- Familiarity with True Beam, Varian, and Cyber Knife equipment preferred
- Solid understanding of radiation safety standards and best practices
- Strong patient communication and instructional skills
- Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and compassionate care
Key responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments with strict attention to protocol
- Prepare and position patients using the latest technology and established procedures
- Monitor patients throughout their course of treatment and provide essential education and reassurance
- Assist in daily operations to ensure optimal department workflow, maintaining treatment schedules with average daily volumes of 25–32 patients
- Work in collaboration with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and clinical staff
- Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
