Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a radiation therapist
• Proficiency operating True Beam, Varian, and Cyber Knife systems
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state license and BLS certification
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Attention to detail with excellent patient care and safety practices

Schedule/Hours:

• Consistent weekday shifts (details provided during interview process)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation therapy to an average of 25-32 patients per day, following physician treatment plans and established safety protocols
• Accurately operate True Beam, Varian, and Cyber Knife equipment
• Perform daily quality assurance checks on all machinery prior to treatment
• Clearly explain procedures and provide emotional support to patients undergoing therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dosimetrists as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Complete documentation and maintain meticulous patient treatment records
• Adhere closely to all HIPAA and departmental guidelines regarding patient privacy and safety
