Responsibilities include:

• Administering prescribed doses of radiation to patients according to established protocols and safety measures

• Preparing and positioning patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Maintaining and operating radiation therapy equipment with strict adherence to safety standards
• Monitoring patient responses throughout the course of treatment and documenting all procedures and outcomes
• Providing patient education and emotional support before, during, and after treatment sessions
• Observing and following all regulatory and facility-specific guidelines related to radiation safety

Desired qualifications:

• Certified and registered as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT certification required)
• Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy
• Strong technical proficiency in radiation therapy equipment and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to patient safety and protocol adherence
• Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist is highly preferred
