Radiation Therapist - Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
• State licensure as required
• Experience operating radiation therapy equipment and following established safety regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients with precision and care
• Prepare and position patients accurately for procedures
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatments, reporting any adverse reactions immediately
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
• Participate in patient assessments and contribute to ongoing treatment planning
• Ensure daily safety checks and quality assurance procedures for all equipment
• Comply with all regulatory and infection control standards
