Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Active certification with ARRT (Radiation Therapy)
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Experience with treatment planning systems and electronic medical records is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients in accordance with oncologist directives
• Accurately position patients and monitor their comfort and safety throughout each procedure
• Operate and maintain all radiation delivery equipment
• Document treatments, patient responses, and any incidents promptly and accurately
• Consult with physicians, dosimetrists, and other members of the oncology team as required
• Educate patients and their families on the treatment process and anticipated side effects
• Ensure strict adherence to both safety protocols and quality standards
