Radiation Therapist - Lakeside, AZ

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active ARRT certification as a Radiation Therapist is required
• Current Arizona State CTT Radiation Therapist certification must be held
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Proficiency with Varian 21iX Lin Acc and Pinnacle treatment planning software
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Mosaiq and Allscripts
• Prior experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate advanced medical equipment, including Varian 21iX Lin Acc, ensuring patient safety and optimal treatment efficacy
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and medical dosimetrists for precise treatment planning
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using Mosaiq and Allscripts EMR systems
• Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns throughout the treatment process
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, quality standards, and facility policies
