Radiation Therapist in Lenexa, KS

A highly skilled Radiation Therapist is needed for a contract role with a 13-week assignment. This opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while working in a professional healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour day shifts
• Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT(T))
• Valid Kansas state license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with radiation therapy equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate patient care

Role Responsibilities:

• Administer precise radiation therapy treatments according to physician’s orders
• Accurately position patients and operate equipment to ensure correct dosage, targeting treatment areas
• Monitor patient reactions during procedures and document results
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and nursing staff as part of an integrated cancer care team
• Provide education and support to patients, addressing questions and concerns
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
