This position presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic cancer center clinic setting. The role requires expertise in radiation therapy and independent work, supporting the treatment of approximately 64-68 patients each day using two state-of-the-art units.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification in Radiation Therapy from ARRT.
  • IEMA certification required.
  • Experience working independently and handling multiple priorities.
  • Previous exposure to a mid-to-large hospital, especially in high-volume clinics.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract assignment.
  • Clinic closure on holidays; these days do not reduce guaranteed hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions and safety protocols.
  • Operate and monitor advanced radiation therapy equipment.
  • Accurately document treatments and maintain patient records.
  • Provide compassionate care, addressing patient questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians, oncology nurses, and medical physicists to ensure effective patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
