Schedule/Hours

  • Contract assignment
  • Clinic closure for holidays will not affect guaranteed hours

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • State of Illinois IEMA licensure required
  • Previous experience delivering radiation therapy in medium to large hospital environments
  • Strong ability to manage a high daily patient flow efficiently
  • Familiarity and competency with Varian Edge/Aria treatment systems
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer radiation treatments according to established protocols and physician prescriptions
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation therapy equipment with precision and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other oncology team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Accurately verify patient identification and treatment area before procedures
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide compassionate support to patients undergoing therapy, addressing questions and concerns
