Desired qualifications:

• Current certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT or equivalent)
• State licensure as required
• Experience operating linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
• Strong understanding of treatment planning and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and nurses
• Attention to detail and efficient time management

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
• Review and interpret physician’s orders to determine exact treatment site and dosages
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain protocols, and answer questions to ensure comfort
• Calibrate and operate radiation equipment according to safety guidelines
• Monitor patient responses and report any side effects or concerns to the clinical team
• Maintain precise documentation of patient sessions and treatment outcomes
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care
• Uphold all regulatory requirements, safety procedures, and infection control standards
