Schedule Details:

  • Work schedule varies: 5x8-hour shifts
  • On-call not required
  • Occasional weekend shifts may be needed, though not regularly

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida State License and current registration as an RTT ARRT Technologist in Radiation Therapy
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • College diploma or transcripts, along with all relevant certifications, must be provided prior to submission
  • At least 16 weeks of availability for the assignment
  • Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in an oncology setting is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise, high-quality radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists
  • Ensure strict adherence to established safety and quality assurance standards for equipment and procedures
  • Educate, support, and comfort patients throughout treatment
  • Accurately document all treatment information and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain and verify the functionality of radiation therapy equipment
