Assignment Details:

  • 16-week travel assignment
  • 8-hour day shifts, full-time schedule

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN required
  • BLS and PEARS or PALS certifications
  • Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course completion (APHON or equivalent within past 5 years)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with pediatric hematology/oncology patients

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-, intra-, and post-infusion patient assessments for pediatric oncology/hematology patients
  • Safely administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications
  • Vigilantly monitor for and respond to side effects or adverse reactions
  • Manage central lines (ports, PICCs) and uphold strict sterile technique
  • Provide specialized symptom management and supportive care
  • Deliver education and resources to patients and families regarding treatments and side effects
  • Offer compassionate emotional support to both pediatric patients and their caregivers
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using Cerner

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
