Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- No weekend shifts required
- No on-call obligations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments using a Varian Trilogy linear accelerator
- Collaborate with other radiation therapists and oncology team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Document procedures and patient progress using ARIA and Epic EMR systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients undergoing radiation therapy
Qualifications:
- Licensed by the State of Illinois (IEMA) as a Radiation Therapist
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), holding the R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential
- Demonstrable experience with Varian linear accelerators, specifically the Trilogy model
- Skilled in using ARIA software and Epic EMR
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit day shift team
- Strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable wearing grey scrubs as part of standard attire
