Radiation Therapist in Oak Lawn, IL

Seeking a skilled professional to provide radiation therapy services in a collaborative environment equipped with advanced technology. This contract opportunity requires expertise in operating Varian Trilogy linear accelerators and proficiency with ARIA and Epic EMR systems. You will be joining a team of dedicated therapists focused on delivering compassionate patient care.

Schedule:

• Shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• No weekends required
• No on-call obligations

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Illinois (IEMA Division)
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), credentialed as R.T.(R)(ARRT)
• Demonstrated experience working with Varian Trilogy linear accelerators
• Proficiency in using ARIA oncology practice management software
• Comfortable utilizing Epic EMR
• Commitment to high patient care standards
• Ability to work well within a team of full-time day-shift therapists
• Grey scrubs required

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and accurate delivery
• Operate and troubleshoot Varian linear accelerator systems
• Accurately record treatments and patient data using ARIA and Epic
• Monitor and assess patient responses, collaborating with physicians and the care team
• Provide clear patient instructions and support throughout the treatment process
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment
