Radiation Therapist - Olathe, KS

Seeking a skilled professional for a 13-week assignment specializing in Radiation Therapy. This opportunity involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. The role offers a consistent daytime schedule, allowing for excellent work-life balance.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts: Monday through Friday
• 7:30am – 4:00pm

Qualifications:

• Current and valid KS state license for Radiation Therapy
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy [ARRT(T)]
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience as a Radiation Therapist, with a strong grasp of treatment planning, patient safety, and radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy to patients as directed by physicians
• Prepare, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment while adhering to safety standards
• Monitor patients throughout radiation procedures and provide support, ensuring comfort and well-being
• Maintain thorough records of treatment sessions and patient progress
• Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Consistently uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
