Radiation Therapist - Olympia Fields, Illinois

This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Radiation Therapist to work alongside a dedicated team using advanced Varian Trilogy linear accelerator technology. Your expertise will provide precise, compassionate care to patients in a collaborative environment with two full-time therapists on the day shift.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• No weekends or on-call requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed by the State of Illinois IEMA division as a Radiation Therapist
• Registered as a Radiation Therapist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• R.T. (R) (ARRT) credentials required
• Demonstrated experience operating Varian linear accelerators and working with ARIA software
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
• Professionalism, strong communication skills, and patient-centered focus
• Grey scrubs required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives
• Operate Varian Trilogy linear accelerator and maintain accurate records using ARIA and Epic EMR systems
• Collaborate closely with a small team of dedicated therapists and clinical staff
• Provide education, support, and reassurance to patients throughout the treatment process
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
