Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT preferred)
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering radiation treatments
• Strong knowledge of patient safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Experience operating linear accelerators and associated radiation oncology equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction
• Commitment to maintaining accurate treatment documentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives
• Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment to ensure precise dosage delivery
• Monitor patient responses and report any concerns or side effects to the medical team
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate treatment records
• Support patients through explanation of procedures and compassionate care
• Collaborate with dosimetrists, physicists, and oncologists to optimize treatment plans
• Uphold strict compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Assist with quality assurance duties as needed
