Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 7pm (variable hours each week)
• Weekends: as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, precise radiation therapy in accordance with physician prescriptions and physicist instructions
• Operate complex radiation-producing equipment following all safety protocols
• Participate in Quality Control monitoring; document all procedures in EMR
• Assess and adapt care to patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Educate patients and families about treatment, side effects, and therapy aids
• Conduct patient simulations and manage set-ups with attention to accuracy and safety
• Collaborate with team members, providing assistance and embracing additional responsibilities as needed
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students, providing guidance and constructive feedback
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare standards, policies, and regulations

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Radiation Therapy preferred
• Proficient in patient treatment/simulation
