Radiation Therapist - Anderson, CA

A skilled Radiation Therapist is needed to deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments for patients under the guidance of clinical protocols. This contract opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals with experience in providing compassionate care and ensuring the safe and effective operation of therapy equipment. Elekta experience is highly preferred for this role.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required)
• Proven experience in administering radiation therapy, preferably with Elekta systems
• Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and quality assurance procedures
• Ability to maintain detailed treatment records and adhere to clinical protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
• Operate radiation therapy equipment (Elekta experience highly valued)
• Support patients throughout the treatment process, addressing their questions or concerns
• Maintain precise documentation and follow established safety procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance activities as required

$1,935 - $2,040/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
