Key Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program and current certification
• Valid Washington State license in Radiation Therapy
• Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Well-versed in the operation of medical imaging devices, including CT scanners
• Prior experience in acute care settings strongly preferred
• Outstanding communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining high attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation treatments safely and accurately per physician protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, side effects, and patient progress
• Work closely with oncologists and care team to develop individualized treatment plans
• Operate and monitor complex medical imaging devices for treatment planning and administration
• Educate patients, providing full explanations of procedures and answering questions with empathy
• Observe and respond to any adverse reactions or complications during therapy sessions
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory guidelines
• Assist with equipment maintenance and quality assurance processes
