Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment calibration before each session
• Collaborate closely with physicians, oncology nurses, and medical physicists to develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient responses and report any treatment side effects or complications to the care team promptly
• Uphold strict safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date treatment records and documentation per facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and necessary post-procedure care
• Troubleshoot and assist with equipment operation as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure and/or certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient oncology setting strongly preferred
• Proficient in treatment planning systems and linear accelerator operation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines
