• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy

• Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
• Strong technical skills in operating radiation therapy equipment and following dosage protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Schedule:

• Contract position with defined assignment period
• Full-time hours as determined by facility needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients as directed by Radiation Oncologists, adhering to physician orders and safety guidelines
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures, providing reassurance and support throughout treatment
• Accurately set up and position patients for daily treatments, utilizing immobilization devices as required
• Monitor patient response and report any adverse reactions or changes to the attending physician
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate treatment records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver the highest standard of patient care
• Participate in regular equipment quality assurance procedures to ensure optimal safety
