Schedule:

• Day Shift: 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00)

Requirements:

• Current BLS, AART, and CRT certifications
• Skilled in Radiation Therapy with experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Demonstrated ability to handle both routine and specialized radiation treatments according to plans developed by physicians
• Strong clinical judgement, independence, and a commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiation therapy and simulation procedures for cancer patients, adhering strictly to established policies
• Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment, document regular readings, and coordinate timely maintenance
• Accurate and timely completion of clerical duties, including updating EHRs, managing appointments, and maintaining supply inventory
• Maintain highest safety standards, applying ALARA principles, disinfecting equipment, and ensuring all work areas meet cleanliness protocols
• Prepare for and assist with procedures, providing clear explanations to patients to ease anxiety and enhance the patient experience
• Mentor students and new staff to promote a supportive, educational work environment
