Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT preferred)
• Current state licensure as required
• Experience operating linear accelerators and related radiologic equipment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures
• Exceptional communication skills to provide compassionate patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• High attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with oncologist directives
• Accurately position patients and use immobilization devices as needed
• Monitor patients during procedures, responding to physical or emotional needs
• Document treatments, patient responses, and equipment usage per clinical guidelines
• Calibrate and maintain therapy equipment in cooperation with medical physicists
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, expectations, and side effects
• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and follow all regulatory guidelines
• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions
